Microsoft and Bing!

A few days ago I got an email from a guy in Australia telling me how much he enjoyed my photo on the Bing homepage.   Of course I immediately visited their site and indeed one of my most recognized photos of Yosemite was being used world wide.  Since signing with Aurora Photos last year I have been seeing my work showing up in all sorts of new media world wide.  But of course it was exciting to see that they had made a sale that featured my work so prominently.  Talk about getting paid while getting amazing advertizing!

March 2014 Shutterbug Cover

I am excited to have my second Shutterbug cover this year.  This shot of our good friend Amy soaking up the view of perhaps the most famous slot canyon of all time.  While a visit to Antelope Canyon is anything but private, it is truly one of most amazing natural wonders in the world.   If you ever have the chance, it is worth braving the crowd and being covered in dust.

Along with the cover the magazine includes my article about including people in landscape images to give a feeling of scale.
